1. Who can use Modern Brotherhood

You must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these terms. One person, one account.

2. What the service is

Modern Brotherhood is a free online peer-support community. It is not a healthcare, therapy, counselling, legal, or financial service, and it does not provide emergency or crisis services. Content from members reflects their own experience and opinions.

3. Your account

Keep your password secure and your email address current. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us if you think your account has been compromised.

4. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give Modern Brotherhood a limited license to store, display, and distribute it within the service so the community can see it. You can edit or delete your content, and deleting your account deletes it, subject to our Privacy Policy.

5. Community rules

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Moderation

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or ban accounts that break our rules or put others at risk. You can appeal decisions from your account status page. We aim to be fair and consistent, but we may act quickly where safety requires.

7. Free service

Participation is free. If we ever introduce optional paid features, we'll tell you in advance and core community participation will remain free.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee that every post will receive a response or that advice from members is accurate or suitable for you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Modern Brotherhood isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from content posted by members.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let members know before they take effect.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings.
